The final payment is 333 million euros - just over 3.7 billion Swedish kronor (about $350 million) - and, according to a press release, will primarily go towards the green transition and support for the labour and housing markets.
Sweden has now received its full share of the RRF support fund, which EU member states jointly borrowed to help get the economy moving again after the pandemic.
In total, Sweden received just over 38 billion kronor (about $3.6 billion) in grants. The fund as a whole comprised the equivalent of 6,500 billion kronor (about $619 billion) in loans and grants to member states.
