The Pakistan Army has won a silver medal at Exercise Cambrian Patrol 2026 in Wales, United Kingdom, marking its fifth consecutive year of securing a medal at the international military competition.
The exercise, held from October 2 to 13, featured 140 teams from 36 countries. Pakistan was represented by an eight-member team from the 59 Punjab Regiment, comprising one officer and seven soldiers.

Pakistan previously secured silver medals in 2022 and 2023, followed by gold medals in 2024 and 2025, extending its medal-winning streak to five consecutive years with this year’s silver.
Following the competition, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Tipu Usman, hosted the team at the Pakistan High Commission in London on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the High Commission, Usman congratulated the team on its achievement and discussed its experience during the exercise.
The team’s performance reflects the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and physical fitness at the international level.
