The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday announced a 15-member squad for India's two-Test series against New Zealand in November.
Jasprit Bumrah has returned to the Test squad after missing India's previous series against Sri Lanka. He was initially named in that squad but was later withdrawn due to injury.
Rishabh Pant, who missed India A's tour of New Zealand after suffering an injury during the domestic Irani Trophy, has also been included, subject to fitness.
Fast bowlers Akash Deep and Anshul Kamboj have been named in the squad. Akash Deep recently returned to action after recovering from a stress fracture. He last played for India during the 2025 tour of England, where he impressed. Kamboj, meanwhile, was dropped after making his debut in England last year.
