The creator, born Prudence Chepkirui Tonui in 1998 and raised in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, shared the news on her verified Instagram page @king.kalala posting a tender close-up of her newborn nestled in a white blanket and wearing a white hat dotted with colourful polka dots in red, green, blue, orange and pink. Only the baby's tiny ear and soft hair are visible in the carefully chosen shot.
Her caption was brief but loaded with emotion:
"I'm coming to you as a mother 🥺🥺 #longlivetheklan."
King Kalala's viral pregnancy journey
The post racked up over 1,800 likes and 155 comments within minutes of going live, with fans filling the section with the creator's signature rallying cry, "Long live the Klan."
The birth closes a chapter that began just three months ago, when Kalala broke her pregnancy news on July 21, 2026, in a playful Instagram Reel that went viral almost instantly.
In that clip, she addressed fans who had noticed physical changes, particularly her nose appearing broader.
"Long live the Klan! People are saying that my nose has become bigger. Don't tell anyone," she quipped before lifting her top to reveal a baby bump.
Her follow-up comment sealed the moment: "LONG LIVE THE KLAN! +1! Hata simba hupatikana" — a tongue-in-cheek admission from a creator whose entire brand is built on encouraging women to put themselves first.
The phrase, loosely translated as "even a lioness gets caught," landed perfectly for an audience that had followed her sharp, independent commentary on dating and relationships for years.
Fellow creator Dem Wa Facebook, who herself recently welcomed twins, was among the first to celebrate Kalala during that July announcement.
"Congratulations, @king.kalala. Kumbe ni mimi nilikua nimeleta jam. Welcome to motherhood, babygirl," she wrote.
That same day, Kalala hit the 1 million follower milestone on TikTok, making it a doubly memorable occasion.
Kalala's rise from Eldoret to digital powerhouse
Kalala studied marketing before transitioning into broadcasting, where she worked as a presenter at 97.5 Mwangaza radio station. She later built an even larger following online through her deep voice and direct commentary, carving out a loyal community she affectionately calls the Klan.
As of now, Kalala has chosen to keep the baby's name, gender and exact birth date private, letting the ear photo speak for itself. Her followers and fellow creators continue to pour in with congratulatory messages as she steps into this new role.
The Klan has grown by one — and that is more than enough reason to celebrate.
