Officially inaugurated by Thomas Phipps, UK Chargé d'Affaires / Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy in Muscat, at LuLu Hypermarket, Bausher, the event runs until 20 October 2026 across selected LuLu stores in Oman. The launch featured a special performance by the British School Muscat student band, setting a lively tone for a celebration of food, culture and discovery.
From the distinctive taste of Scottish salmon to classic British biscuits, specialty teas, delicious confectionery and premium cheeses, there's plenty to excite food lovers. Shoppers can explore a wide selection of British products, including breakfast cereals, preserves, baking ingredients, frozen foods and fresh produce, alongside organic, gluten-free and diabetic-friendly options.
And the experience goes beyond the supermarket shelves! Shoppers can savor traditional British-inspired favorites at the hot food counters, with dishes such as roast beef with potatoes, chicken tikka masala, and the much-loved British classic fish and chips. For those with a sweet tooth, the simple pleasure of strawberries and cream adds a delicious finishing touch to this culinary journey. Whether you're planning a family meal, looking for inspiration for your next baking adventure or simply craving a familiar British favorite, British Food Week offers plenty of reasons to try something different.
The products are sourced through LuLu's Sourcing and Logistics Centre in Birmingham, UK, connecting shoppers in Oman with a diverse selection of British food products.
