Drake Maye’s wife was a hit at a local grocery store as more than 1,000 people waited in line to meet her.
Patriots fans surely turned out for Ann Michael Maye during her first public meet and greet at Market Basket in North Andover, Mass., on Friday.
Two women told the Boston Globe they stood in line for four hours before the event was scheduled to begin, while others said they drove from Connecticut and Maine for a chance to meet her.
Ann Michael Maye has a one-year partnership with Olivia’s Organics, which sells organic produce nationally. The event also gave fans a chance to learn some healthy recipes.
She has become a viral sensation on social media because of her down-to-earth nature and holiday baking series “Bakemas.”
“I told my daughter, ‘No matter how big you are in this world, people always want to know that they make a difference,’ ” one fan in line told The Globe. “It’s nice to say, ‘Thank you for being you.’ I mean, I do say we love her husband, but let’s call a spade a spade.”
Around 1,200 people showed up to meet the 23-year-old, who has 582,000 followers on Instagram. But only a few hundred got to meet Ann Michael Maye, according to News 7 Boston.

She stayed an extra half hour because of the turnout and took some questions from fans, who brought items for her to autograph.
The frenzy to meet her came as the Patriots and Drake Maye appear to have righted the ship after a 1-2 start. New England has won its past two games against the division rival Bills and Raiders, against whom they put up 45 points.
Drake Maye had six interceptions against one touchdown pass in the team’s first three games. Since then, he has looked like the QB who led them to last year’s Super Bowl, with 643 passing yards, seven touchdowns and just one pick in the past two wins as they try to make it three straight victories in Week 6 against the Jets.
He will get the team’s biggest offseason addition back, with receiver A.J. Brown expected to be activated off injured reserve after suffering an ankle injury in the Week 1 loss.
Drake and Ann Michael have been together since middle school and got married in 2025.
