Smartphone brand helio has launched the helio 65 at Tk21,999, featuring a 7,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging and a 6.78-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Designed for users seeking long battery life, the smartphone also offers a 50MP autofocus rear camera, 128GB uMCP storage, NFC and IP64 protection, according to the press release.
The helio 65 features a 6.78-inch IPS punch-hole display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Its 120Hz refresh rate supports smooth scrolling and gaming, while Iron Guard protection adds durability.
The display also offers an 800-nit High Brightness Mode (HBM), designed to improve visibility in bright sunlight.
The phone's 7,000mAh battery supports 33W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. According to helio, a full charge takes approximately one hour and 45 minutes using the 33W charger.
The device also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing users to charge other devices when needed.
For photography and video, the helio 65 has a 50MP autofocus rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and electronic image stabilisation. Its front camera has a 32MP sensor and an f/2.0 aperture.
Camera software features include Live Photo, Dual-View Recording, AI Emoji and GIF.
The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, featuring an octa-core CPU with two cores running at 1.8GHz and six at 1.6GHz.
It offers up to 16GB RAM, including up to 8GB of expanded RAM. The device comes with 128GB of internal storage, expandable by up to 512GB using a microSD card.
The helio 65 carries an IP64 rating for protection against dust and water splashes. Its display is protected by Panda high-strength aluminosilicate glass.
Security features include face unlocking and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and 4G networks. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, OTG support and dual speakers.
An intelligent noise reduction feature is designed to reduce background noise during calls and improve voice clarity.
The smartphone runs on Android 16, with an Android 17 upgrade also listed for the device. Other software features include Game Booster, Dual Apps, App Lock, Children Space, Mobile Guardian and a Side Application Bar.
The helio 65 weighs 225 grams and measures 9.1mm in thickness. It is available in Cosmic Navy Blue, Magnetic Ash and Silk Green.
Customers can also access a Grameenphone bundle offer and a 15-month warranty.
The company said the smartphone aims to combine long battery life with features for everyday use, entertainment and photography, helping users stay connected for longer.
