Amitabh Bachchan stepped out of his residence Jalsa in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday to greet a large gathering of fans on his 84th birthday, continuing his longstanding tradition of meeting admirers who assemble outside his home.
The actor waved to the crowd from an elevated platform at his Juhu residence as fans captured the moment on their mobile phones. Security personnel and members of his entourage stood around the platform, which was decorated with a large red floral garland.

This year's birthday coincided with his customary Sunday darshan, an annual ritual during which the actor steps out to greet fans gathered outside Jalsa.
Several admirers arrived wearing outfits inspired by Bachchan's iconic characters from his films, while others carried placards bearing birthday wishes for the veteran actor.
