Taylor Swift was once again the center of attention at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, October 18, as she attended the game to support her husband, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, during the matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The singer arrived in Kansas City after a quick trip from Los Angeles and watched the game from a suite at the stadium, where she was joined by longtime friend Este Haim and WNBA star Caitlin Clark, according to TMZ.
However, the day took a concerning turn when Kelce suffered a right ankle injury just minutes into the game.
The Chiefs tight end briefly left the field after showing discomfort and was attended to by the team’s medical staff on the sideline. CBS cameras captured the veteran player removing his shoe while trainers examined the injured area.
After receiving treatment and having his ankle taped, Kelce returned to the field in an attempt to continue playing, although Kansas City did not immediately provide details on the severity of the injury.

The injury occurred during the opening minutes of the matchup between the Chiefs and Chargers, an AFC West divisional showdown.
Former NFL team doctor David Chao analyzed video of the play and suggested the injury could be a mild high ankle eversion sprain.
“By video, mild right high eversion ankle sprain,” Chao wrote on social media.
Kelce received initial treatment on his ankle before returning to the medical staff for additional support and a stronger wrap on the outside of his shoe.
The injury came at an important moment for Kansas City, which entered the matchup with a perfect 4-0 record on the season.

Taylor Swift arrives at Arrowhead after Hollywood event
Swift’s appearance in Kansas City came less than 24 hours after she attended the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.
The singer was one of the biggest stars at Saturday night’s event, where she performed several songs from her catalog, including “Blank Space,” “Love Story,” and “The Fate of Ophelia.”
She also walked the red carpet wearing a Dior gown.
Kelce did not attend the gala with Swift as he was focused on preparing for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Despite her commitment in California and the cross-country travel, Swift made it to Arrowhead Stadium in time to support her husband in one of the most anticipated games of the season.
