Raiders' Maxx Crosby Represents Boston Before Matchup with Patriots

Las Vegas Raiders linebacker Maxx Crosby made an interesting outfit choice for his arrival Sunday.

No. 98 switched to No. 33.

Crosby put on a throwback basketball jersey, but not just any jersey! "Bird" was written across his back as he represented Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird just 25 miles south of the old Boston Garden for his arrival prior to a matchup with the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, as seen in video provided by ESPN's Mike Reiss..

Crosby has indirectly been in the news as of late.

The Baltimore Ravens, just months after backing out on a trade for the five-time Pro Bowler due to a failed physical, held their physical for offensive lineman Cam Jurgens at the Philadelphia Eagles' facility before signing off on a trade earlier this week.

Crosby has been good in his return/hold with Las Vegas, picking up 2.0 sacks through four games in 2026.
