The 40-day memorial service for singer Giorgos Mazonakis took place on Sunday, October 18, at the Holy Trinity Church in Nicaea.
His parents, Cleo and Manolis Mazonakis, and sisters Maria and Vasso attended the emotional ceremony in the area where he grew up. A memorial at his grave in Athens’ 3rd Cemetery followed.
Mazonakis’ mother has previously spoken of her ongoing grief and demand for justice.
