On the night of September 24, 2017, one Mani was driving an MTC bus at high speed and in a rash and negligent manner from east to west at the junction of K.H. Road and Somasundaram Street in Ayanavaram. The bus rammed into a two-wheeler that was proceeding in the same direction on the road.
