The Banana Ball Championship League may have just crowned its first champion, but the league is already looking ahead to the 2027 season.
The organization, which is home to the Savannah Bananas, announced its 2027 season schedule on Oct. 15 at the Banana Ball City Selection Show.
It came just days after the Texas Tailgaters, one of the league's six teams, defeated the Bananas in the inaugural Banana Bowl championship.
During the show, Banana Ball announced that some games will be held in Monterrey and Tijuana, Mexico, as well as Winnipeg and Toronto, Canada. Other landmark stops include the Field of Dreams in Iowa, Chicago's Soldier Field and Cooperstown, New York.
The season will also introduce Banana Ball 360 at Notre Dame Stadium. The game will see two playing fields positioned in opposite corners of a football stadium, with teams switching fields every inning.
The teams will stop at 23 MLB stadiums and 10 football stadiums throughout the year as well as 33 minor league baseball stadiums. The 2027 Banana Ball World Tour Championship Bowl will be held at the new Nissan Stadium in Nashville on Sept. 25.
