Riyadh – Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday the interception and destruction of a cruise missile in the Medina region.
Earlier on Thursday, authorities in the Kingdom issued an early warning of a potential threat in Najran and Jazan in the south of the country, before declaring the danger to the two regions had passed.
Saudi Arabia has recently been subjected to repeated attacks by the Houthi group, amidst the conflict that began weeks ago in Yemen.
On Wednesday, debris from a ballistic missile fell in Riyadh after it was intercepted and destroyed.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that the missile was launched by the Houthis, and that the debris resulted in injuries to a resident and minor material damage to a house and a vehicle.
