Travellers in the Klang Valley will soon have more flight options to Sarawak and Indonesia, with Batik Air introducing three new direct routes from Subang this December
The airline will launch flights between Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang and Miri and Sibu in Sarawak on 1 December 2026.
Meanwhile, its Subang–Bali route will begin operating on 2 December.

The new services will expand Batik Air's network from Subang, giving travellers an alternative to departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
Batik Air CEO Datuk Chandran Rama Muthy said the airline sees potential in developing Subang as a convenient gateway for travellers in the Klang Valley.
He said the addition of Miri and Sibu would strengthen the airline's connectivity with East Malaysia, while the Bali route would expand its international offerings from Subang.
The airline also plans to explore opportunities to connect Subang with more destinations, as it continues to build a network catering to business, family, and leisure travellers.

Besides the two domestic routes, Batik Air will introduce direct flights from Subang to Bali, Indonesia, starting 2 December
The service to Bali will operate four times a week, while flights to Miri and Sibu will run three times a week each.
The new routes will join Batik Air's existing services from Subang to destinations including Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Penang, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu, Kota Bharu, Johor Bahru, and Langkawi.
With these additional connections, travellers will have more options for business trips, family visits, and holidays without necessarily having to travel to KLIA first.
