Grab your cowboy hat and boots! The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) are returning to Dayton.
The 2027 PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour is coming to the WSU Nutter Center on Feb. 5-6.
Following a one-year hiatus in 2026, PBR returns to the region in 2027 for its 10th stop in Dayton.
The 2023 PBR event in Dayton sold out, with strong demand driving the event’s expansion to a two-night format beginning in 2024.
At the 2025 Dayton event, Michael Lane delivered a perfect 3-for-3 performance to take the win. The 2027 competition will again bring top bull riders head-to-head with some of the rankest, most explosive bulls in the sport.
Riders will compete in the ultimate eight-second man-versus-beast showdown while pursuing points, pride, and a coveted spot at the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals in May 2027, according to a press release from PBR.
Established in 2014, the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour serves as PBR’s premier expansion series, bringing rising stars, established competitors, and top bovine athletes to cities across the United States.
