Blue Mbombo is not staying quiet. The South African model and influencer took to X on Thursday, 22 October 2026, to fire back at Thami Ndlala after he addressed their connection during a sit-down with MacG on Podcast and Chill.
During the wide-ranging interview, Ndlala tackled several allegations that have kept social media buzzing. One segment that caught everyone's attention was his account of his relationship with Blue Mbombo.
He told MacG that his foundation had stepped in to support her during a rough patch, saying: "If there's one thing that I've done, which I remain proud of, I don't even regret it, that my foundation assisted her during tough times." He also questioned what he could have possibly gained from someone he was simply helping through charity work.
Blue Mbombo sets the record straight
Blue Mbombo had none of it. The verified influencer posted two stories on X rejecting his version of events outright.
"First of all.. I have approached no flippen foundation! It's a made-up lie!" she wrote, dismissing Ndlala's claims as fabricated.
She then followed up with a short but sharp response to the interview overall: "lol what a mental case!"
The back-and-forth quickly caught the attention of social media users, with many weighing in on who they believed.
Peeps react to the feud
The posts drew a strong response from netizens on X. Here is what some of them had to say:
@sfisomahla14431:
"I want to see where this case between Thami and Blue will end up, because Blue says she has never been approached by Thami's foundation."
@SelloJupiter:
"She must go to podcast and chill so that we can hear her side of the story 🤣😂"
@GodsFave27 pointed out a detail many seemed to have missed:
"But he never said she approached his organisation; he said she approached HIM 😂"
@Oodwa_Qumba was firmly in Blue's corner:
"I don't trust Thami at all."
@Seashin1984 offered a more sympathetic read of the situation:
"Shem I feel sorry for L because to me it's a matter of 'if I can't have her' those two know each other deeper."
@JoeFerg58678029 was unimpressed with the brevity of her response:
"Is that all she has to say, after releasing that statement😫?"
With fans split and Ndlala's interview still circulating, the spat between the two shows no signs of cooling down anytime soon.
