The featured listings we checked on Webtickets Namibia begin on 17 October, so nothing is listed here for 12 to 16 October. Events that were not clearly in Windhoek are left out.
For readers in the United States, the practical point is cost and booking. Events sell through local platforms in Namibian dollars, which trade at about N$16.50 per US$1 (RT, 13 October 2026).

Planning your October in Windhoek
La Muela is about 35 minutes south of the city, so the polo match needs a car or a pre-arranged ride. The Tony Rust Race Track is also outside the centre, so check the route before you go.
Check the ticket page for the final venue, time and price before you travel, because organisers can change them. Most of these events sell through Webtickets Namibia, and Windhoek Oktoberfest sells through NamEvents.
What it means for you
If you are travelling from the United States, most tickets cost modest sums in dollar terms. A club night or a choir concert costs about US$6, and the Oktoberfest online prices of US$13 to US$15 a day are the main exception among the big events.
Residents can use the same list to plan around work and school. Most of the programme sits on Fridays and Saturdays.
What is not known
Several listings do not describe the programme. For ARCHAUS Margarita Sunsets and SoufSideChill, the pages give a venue, time and price but few details of what happens.
We have not confirmed current Oktoberfest ticket availability or whether the early-bird allocation has sold out.
