“For 2027, our focus centred on the green colour family. When we looked across the past, present and future of colour trends, variations on green consistently demonstrated remarkable staying power,” said Andrea Magno, vice president of brand, colour, and integrated marketing, at Benjamin Moore.

“Webster Green HC-130 reflects this timeless appeal by pairing reassuring stability with optimistic energy. Its composed nature feels both rooted and forward-looking, while enhancing spaces that feel distinctive, collected and continually new.”

Two interior designers contacted by Toronto Sun Homes are not only liking what they see but see great potential for how it can be used.
“There’s a reason green continues to find its way into interiors — it’s inherently timeless. I’ve always considered green a neutral, an earthy go-to that brings a sense of depth and character to a space” says Athaina Makar, founder and principal designer at Studio Clae, a full-service Toronto-based design firm.
“What I particularly love about Benjamin Moore’s Webster Green is that it feels both enduring and relevant today. It has a richness that makes a statement without ever feeling loud.”
Danya MacLean, founder and principal of Danya MacLean Design describes Webster Green as a genuinely versatile colour. “It has enough depth to be a grounding tone that acts as a supporting colour to other playful pops. ” Pairing it with rust, ochre, blush or even a soft blue, she says, “can help a space feel more elevated. It’s also great with warm woods.”
Benjamin Moore is suggesting designers and homeowners use Webster Green as “a sophisticated accent; a distinguished choice for a living room or study; an expressive selection for kitchen cabinetry; or a welcoming front door. “
Makar says:: “I can envision using it in unexpected ways — on interior doors, as a statement trim colour carried throughout a home, or enveloping a powder room for a more intimate, moody feel. I would pair it with deep, richly stained brown oak and antique brass for a beautifully layered, sophisticated palette.”
MacLean says she would use it to “colour drench walls or act as a dominant millwork colour (millwork refers to woodwork such as doors, moldings, trim, window casings, stair parts, and cabinetry). Doing so, she suggests,, can be done in a way so it appears “simply inviting but without feeling overpowering.”
