(ANSA) - ROME, 12 OTT - The right-wing League party is changing its logo—removing the reference to "Salvini Premier"—to comply with the new electoral law, which requires the designation of a single candidate for the entire coalition, its leader, Deputy Premier and Transport Minister Matteo Salvini, said Monday.
Following the League's Federal Council meeting, the party secretary announced the formation of a political secretariat to "share the honours and the burdens," adding that "we will certainly update the logo as well, because the world changes." Meanwhile, the "Network for a Free and Equal Vote" has finalized six points for its Constitutional Court challenges against the new electoral law: the majority bonus; the allocation of the Senate bonus on a national basis; seat allocation methods; gender alternation; signature requirements for submitting candidate lists; and the designation of the candidate for prime minister.
