Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus will meet Pope Leo at the Vatican later.
The meeting is expected to pave the way for the skull of the Apostle Paul to be brought to Cyprus.
The last visit to the Vatican by the head of the Church of Cyprus was in June 2007. The archbishop will remain in the Vatican until Oct. 21.
