The final phase of the Path to Doomsday Avengers event has kicked off in Marvel Rivals with the release of Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. The full Marvel Rivals hero roster is here to face off against the mad titan, Thanos. So, if you are confused about which hero you should pick, here are the 10 best heroes for Avengers: Endgame PvE mode in Marvel Rivals.
The Path to Doomsday — Avengers: Endgame PvE mode in Marvel Rivals is now live in the game. Unlike previous PvE modes in Marvel Rivals, the entire Marvel Rivals hero roster is available for the Endgame mode. However, the heroes’ kits haven’t been updated, and there are no special upgrades between rounds.
After trying out all the heroes available in the Endgame mode, here are all the best heroes you should play as to quickly defeat Thanos in Marvel Rivals:
Human Torch
Surprisingly, Human Torch, who remains at the bottom of the Marvel Rivals tier list, is one of the best characters to defeat Thanos in the new PvE mode. All the aerial heroes have an advantage in this mode; they can avoid minions on the ground and focus on shredding Thanos’ massive health bar.
So, Human Torch can remain in the air all the time. Before spamming his Fire Clusters, make sure to cover the area Thanos roams by creating a Pyro-prison with Blazing Blast attack. In this way, you can significantly boost damage numbers. Lastly, you can unleash hell on the battlefield with Torch’s ult, Supernova.
Jubilee
The best Strategist for Avengers: Endgame PvE mode is none other than Jubilee in Marvel Rivals. The firecracker was recently buffed in Marvel Rivals Season 10.5, and she continues to shine on the battlefield even in the new PvE mode. Jubilee can excel at both dealing damage and saving her teammates with her heals.
Make sure to keep dropping Blooming Balls and inflating them to keep nearby allies healed. The newly buffed Fireworks Finale ult also comes in handy, especially in the second phase. So, Jubilee is without a doubt the best Strategist hero for Avengers: Endgame PvE mode in Marvel Rivals.
Storm
Storm, who used to be one of the least picked heroes, has instantly become one of the most-picked characters in Marvel Rivals‘ new PvE mode. Once again, an aerial duelist has emerged as a top pick to defeat Thanos. Similar to Human Torch, Storm players can prioritize dealing damage to Thanos over his minions.
The mutant goddess can remain at a distance and keep attacking with her Wind Blades and switch between her two attacks. The Omega Hurricane is still useful to clear Thanos’ Chitauri and Chitauri Gorillas while simultaneously attacking Thanos. The only disadvantage of picking Storm is her mobility; you cannot easily escape all incoming attacks from Thanos.
Phoenix
Marvel Rivals’ Jean Phoenix is the same lethal hero in the Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. The best way to play as Phoenix in this mode is to stand in the outer arena and keep hitting Thanos with the Cosmic Flames. Since Thanos has a gigantic hitbox, it’s much easier to aim for his head even from far away.
Both Telepathic Illusion and Dark Ascent allow you to readjust your position on the arena with ease, and it is crucial, especially when Thanos begins to unleash the power of Infinity Stones. The Ultimate Ability Endsong Inferna is also capable of mass destruction if you time it and place it properly.
Iron Man
As everyone knows, Iron Man became the MVP at the end of the final Avengers movie, and he can pretty much repeat the history here in the Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. As an aerial Duelist, Iron Man gets a natural advantage and can only concentrate on nuking Thanos with his repulsor blasts and unibeam.
In case you didn’t know, his missiles received auto-tracking capabilities in Season 10.5 for the first time. So, players can keep sending out missiles in addition to his primary attacks. As Iron Man, your regular drill would be entering Armor Overdrive mode and keeping fire on Thanos to quickly charge your ultimate. Then send out the Invincible Pulse Cannon in Thanos’ way before he moves.
Moon Knight
The swarm of Chitauri, Chitauri Gorillas, and other minions on the battlefield are definitely annoying. But you can take advantage of this opportunity by picking Moon Knight in Marvel Rivals. The large number of enemies makes life easier for Moon Knight, as his Crescent Darts can easily ricochet between foes without any disturbance.
So, keep placing your Ankhs and spam your Crescent Darts to continuously attack Thanos and his mighty monstrous army at the same time. Since there isn’t any high ground here, it is a bit difficult to survive as Moon Knight. So, make sure to stay near healers or ask a friend to play a healer, if you can.
Scarlet Witch
Scarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff, was a great pick for both Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode and Avengers: Infinity War PvP mode in Marvel Rivals. And her winning streak continues in Avengers: Endgame PvE mode.
Chaos Control, Scarlet Hex, Chthonian Burst, Sorcerer Supreme, etc., basically all the abilities in Wanda’s kit are deadly and are perfect for wiping out Chitauri squads and sucking Thanos’ life force. Although it is hard to rely only on Mystic Projection, you can surive for a long time on the battle arena if you play your cards right.
The Hood
It’s hard to survive as a Duelist or Strategist in the Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. So, the natural option is to pick a Vanguard who can withstand longer. Out of all the Vanguards in the game, The Hood remains the only solid pick for the new PvE mode. While most of the Vanguards are melee-focused, Marvel Rivals’ The Hood can obliterate with his accursed dual pistols.
Similar to how you play as The Hood in other game modes, keep dealing damage with his pistol to build up the Demonic Energy. Enter the Half-Demon state to get movement and attack boost which results in increased damage. Finally, you can easily hit your shots during The Hood’s Demon of the End ultimate ability, thanks to Thanos’ massive hitbox.
Ultron
The second-best Strategist after Jubilee in Avengers: Endgame mode is Ultron in Marvel Rivals. Ultron has all the same perks as an aerial Duelist. In addition, he can easily manage healing as he gets a better view of the battle from the top.
As Ultron, keep shifting your drones between the heroes in need of health and keep hitting Thanos with the Encephalo-Ray. Then make sure to use the Rage of Ultron ultimate ability When Thanos orders the spaceships to strike as well as when he uses the Infinity Stones to rescue the injured heroes.
Jeff the Land Shark
Last but not least, Jeff the Land Shark is one of the best characters for Marvel Rivals Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. His Joyful Splash has a great range, so you can heal your allies while also damaging the minions at the same time. Use Hide and Seek ability whenever you need to escape and you can use your Healing Bubbles to heal yourself and remain alive on the battlefield.
While you cannot use It’s Jeff, one of the best ultimate abilities in Marvel Rivals, to swallow Thanos, it is still good enough. The created healing water zone is helpful in healing allies and you can instead focus on swalling the members of Thanos army.
And these are our top 10 picks for the best heroes/characters for the ongoing Marvel Rivals Avengers: Endgame PvE mode. It is very easy to defeat Thanos by picking any one of the characters we have listed here.
