Meghan Markle is striding ahead with exciting As Ever launches. Following her advent calendar drop at the start of the month, chapter two of her 'Holiday Collection' goes live today, Thursday 22 October. It's centred around hosting and includes a quaint Trellis porcelain tea set. In a potentially awkward turn of events, her father-in-law King Charles has released a crockery collection on the same day.
In a post shared by his Highgrove Gardens Instagram team, they introduced a "new collection with Cornishware Ceramics".
The caption detailed the items included in the range. "From teapots, mugs, and side plates to storage pots and dog bowls, each piece is hand-cast from Cornish clay and passes through at least 25 pairs of skilled hands."
The pieces have been carefully designed using Highgrove’s signature King's Rose pink and Highgrove sage green and items are available on the website now.

It's not the first time Charles and Meghan have gone head-to-head in the lifestyle stakes as they both sell jams. Meghan's best-selling items include her orange marmalade and her raspberry and strawberry spreads. The monarch also has a full range of preserves listed on his Highgrove shop site, made locally for the royal specifically.

When teasing her festive collection, Meghan showcased a wholesome Christmas set-up in a new video. In the first shot, the mother-of-two was dressed in an all-black look as she took a jam biscuit from the kitchen to have with her tea.
She then lit a candle on a side table before walking over to put presents in white knitted stockings that were hanging above the fireplace. Meghan sported a white knit jumper as she prepared the stockings. "A little more holiday magic is on its way," she wrote in the caption. "Coming soon. Stay close."

While the family's plans have not been publicly announced, HELLO!'s Royal Editor, Emily Nash, shared her belief that they will likely want to spend time with Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, rather than the royal family.
"I would be very surprised if the Sussexes are around at Christmas. I think they'll head to see Doria. I think that was always the plan," she said on HELLO!'s A Right Royal Podcast.
