The trailer was released on Thursday and the release date was announced. ‘Cafe Umbrella’ will be seen on iScreen from October 29.
‘Cafe Umbrella’ will feature four different love stories of four couples. Along with the sweet moments of love, the story also features tension in relationships, pride, misunderstandings and various expressions of emotion.
Tawsif Mahbub is opposite the witty narrator. Partha Sheikh will be seen with Nazah Nawar and Arefin Jilani will be seen with Amina Islam. Saidur Rahman Pavel and Sanjida Tasnim are in the other pair.
Bidushi, Nazah and Amina are making their acting debut with this web film. So before starting the shooting, Shihab Shaheen conducted a workshop with them for about a month.
Lux champion Bidushi Bornita, sharing her experience of her first web film, said, “This is my first big project after Lux.
The girls of Lux did the work together. The rehearsals were also held together. Starting our careers together is very exciting. Shihab Shaheen Sir gave us a lot of time.”
Although she is waiting to make her debut with ‘Cafe Umbrella’, first runner-up Nazah Nawar has experience of acting in Abdullah Mohammad Saad’s ‘Annie’ series before entering the Lux beauty pageant.
The series is now awaiting release. Nazah said, “My first work after leaving Lux is with Shihab Shaheen Sir. It feels like a big opportunity for me. As a newcomer, I got more cooperation from the director and co-stars than I expected.”
Second runner-up Amina Islam said, “‘Cafe Umbrella’ will remain etched in my mind for the rest of my life. I am making my debut in the industry with this web film. Everyone in the family is very excited. I hope Darshana will also like it.”
Director Shihab Shaheen said, “’Cafe Umbrella’ is a parallel story of many characters. It will have four different stories connected to each other.
The script of this web film in the romance and drama genre is created around human emotions, love and relationships.”
