’Tis the season for a good old crime thriller - and This City Is Ours should sit top of your autumn watch list.
The second season of the Liverpool-set BBC drama returns to our screens this weekend, picking up from the antics of season one. Opening up about what fans can expect this season, show creator Stephen Butchard shared, ‘A major theme this series is consequences - for every action, there is a reaction. The problem is that some reactions are predictable, but most are not. An action can quite often be considered as a domino - it topples, but that is the beginning and not the end. Again, we explore the delicious human emotions and truth of love, desire, greed, fear, anger, betrayal and the need for status and power.'
So, when are episodes released? How to watch it? And will we get a season three? Here’s your complete guide to This City Is Ours season two.
