,by Ben Eastham.
A recently widowed art critic grapples with the ethical dilemma of accepting a job offer from a shadowy billionaire who is launching a techno-utopian domed shelter for the rich.
Eastham, an art critic himself, cinematically illustrates “the tightening bonds between a globalised art market and international finance” in this novel, which, for “all its well earned disillusion with the art world… remains surprisingly sentimental,” The Guardian wrote.
