With the NFL trade deadline less than a month away, the Pittsburgh Steelers may be on the cusp of a big move, at least according to one prominent and well-respected insider.
Mark Kaboly, a longtime Steelers beat writer, hinted that Pittsburgh could be active at the November 10 trade deadline, leaving fans to speculate as to which position could be of interest to the team.
"Getting strong indications that the Steelers are going to be active heading into the NFL trade deadline set for Nov. 10," Kaboly wrote via X.
Over the past several years, the Steelers have made quite a few trades in late October and early November, such as the acquisitions of safety Kyle Dugger in 2025, wide receiver Mike Williams in 2024, outside linebacker Preston Smith in 2024, and cornerback William Jackson III in 2022. Pittsburgh also traded away wide receiver Chase Claypool in 2022 at the deadline.
If we had to guess, the Steelers might be looking to make a splash at wide receiver, safety, or cornerback at this year's trade deadline. But don't be surprised if the team also offloads a few struggling veterans this season, such as Patrick Queen, thanks to his tackling woes.
