The Eagles will have Drew Kendall available against the Panthers, but Hollywood Brown will watch from the sideline as a healthy scratch.
Philadelphia released its six-player inactive list before Sunday’s game at Lincoln Financial Field. Brown is the lone healthy scratch, with the Eagles choosing Elijah Moore over the veteran receiver. Joe Milton is designated the emergency third quarterback.
Eagles inactives vs. Panthers
- WR Hollywood Brown — healthy scratch
- QB Joe Milton — emergency third quarterback
- RB Saquon Barkley — hamstring
- DB Michael Carter II — abdomen
- OLB A.J. Epenesa — back
- OLB Jalyx Hunt — ankle/knee
Kendall is active after being listed as questionable with a knee injury. His availability gives Philadelphia another interior offensive line option as Tanner McKee makes his first start of the season. DeVonta Smith, Dontayvion Wicks and Jonathan Greenard are also active. Greenard’s return is especially important with Hunt and Epenesa unavailable, while Smith and Wicks give McKee help in the passing game.
Barkley’s absence leaves Dameon Pierce in line to lead the backfield. Jalen Hurts is on injured reserve and does not appear on the game-day inactive list.
