In his latest video, he takes viewers on a walking tour through a quiet, streetlit road inside an AMG Realtors gated estate in Juja, spotlighting the kind of real estate that has made the area a favourite among diaspora investors.
The clip captures two eye-catching properties. The first is a completed multi-storey mansion featuring sleek modern pillars and black glass balconies.

The second, sitting on a generous walled plot, is a flat-roof contemporary home that would not look out of place in any upmarket suburb.
Both properties carry an on-screen caption that reads:
"Measure twice cut once! Kenyans in diaspora building dream houses... design change every 2years..."
Mkenya Marekani's cautionary note to diaspora Kenyans
Beyond showing off the stunning builds, Mkenya Marekani used the video to share a humorous but pointed piece of advice. Speaking in a relaxed, conversational tone, he warned fellow Kenyans abroad not to rush into constructing their dream homes before thinking long-term.
"Tuko Ndani ya AMG. Last time nilikuja kuona ile nyumba. Unaona sasa challenge nilikuja kuona ni ukijenga dream house mapema. Kuna mwingine anakuja anakuonesha details... inabidi ukijenga dream house unajenga for future... hata yule ata jenga kando yako ata jenga nyumba na nusu. So, ukijenga kitu Kenya lazima ujenge futuristic. Ndo usikuja kubomua tena your dream house," he said.
His point, delivered with characteristic warmth, is simple: build too soon, and your neighbour will raise a bigger, better house next door because architectural tastes shift every couple of years.
His prescription is to design with the future in mind, so you never have to knock anything down and start from scratch.
Why Juja keeps attracting diaspora Investment
Juja has steadily grown into one of the most sought-after addresses for Kenyans building back home, particularly those returning wealth earned abroad.
Its proximity to Nairobi, combined with planned developments from companies like AMG Realtors, gives investors the confidence that their money is going into a controlled, secure environment rather than an unregulated plot.
The properties on display in Mkenya Marekani's video are a testament to that confidence. Far from the unfinished shells that once symbolised diaspora building projects, these are polished, fully realised homes that reflect serious investment and careful planning.
For many Kenyans in the US, building at home is as much about legacy as it is about property. And if Juja's growing skyline is anything to go by, that legacy is looking increasingly impressive.
Capetown townhouse goes viral
We also highlighted facts about a Victorian-style townhouse in Cape Town listed for about KSh 82.5 million, including its features, location and use as a highly rated Airbnb.
The price has sparked fierce debate online, with some viewers arguing that similar homes elsewhere in South Africa cost far less.
