Vice-chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Vu Thu Ha recently chaired a meeting with central and municipal agencies and departments to gather feedback on plans and content for a special art program celebrating Vietnam Culture Day, according to the Hanoi Party Committee’s official portal.
Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra assigned Hanoi to organize a special art program and concert for the occasion, which is expected to attract around 60,000 spectators.
The concert is expected to run for 120-150 minutes and be broadcast live on H1, operated by the Hanoi Press and Radio-Television Agency, with Vietnam Television relaying the event live on its channels and platforms.
The program will follow a cohesive narrative linking traditional heritage with contemporary creativity and combining traditional Vietnamese arts with modern stage technology.

A highlight will be a high-altitude fireworks display lasting an expected 15 minutes, creating an artistic experience that reflects Vietnamese cultural identity and carries a broader social message.
At the meeting, Ha urged the relevant units to promptly finalize the program script and determine locations for installing outdoor LED screens so residents can watch the event live.
She also stressed that the fireworks display should be integrated into the artistic program to create an emotional climax for the audience.
Specialized units were asked to conduct on-site surveys soon and agree on a fireworks launch site that best meets artistic and safety requirements.
