Lakyntiewdor E. Paswett has been awarded a PhD by North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) for her thesis titled ‘Child Rearing Practices in Khasi Matrilineal Society”’, which she completed under the supervision of Prof W. Mylliemngap. She is the daughter of Mathew Kharnaior and Nora Lyne Paswett, and a resident of Lawsohtun, Block 6, Shillong.
