Top 5 Phones to buy in the festive sale 2026

Amazon and Flipkart are offering discounts on smartphones across different price ranges this festive season, but not every deal is worth getting excited about. You can buy some phones that are below their launch prices, while others have received price hikes before the sale, which makes the discount not so impressive. So before you pick a phone during Amazon’s Great Indian Festival or Flipkart’s Big Billion Day sale, it’s worth checking what you’re really saving and what you’re getting for the money. We’ve picked five smartphones that stand out at their current sale prices. Here are the top 5 phones that you can buy during this festive season sale.

iQOO Z11 Lite

iQOO launched the Z11 Lite on 24 July at Rs 19,499 for the 4GB + 128GB model. The list price has stayed there since, so the festive price of Rs 15,499 on Amazon is Rs 4,000 below the launch price. But this discounted price includes bank offers.

The phone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset with UFS 2.2 storage. The battery is 6,500mAh with 44W charging and bypass charging. The display is a 6.74-inch LCD at 720p, with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,200 nits of brightness. The rear camera is a 50MP Sony sensor with a 0.08MP depth sensor, and the front camera is 5MP. It has one speaker and an IP65 rating, and it runs OriginOS 6 on Android 16.

It is the only phone on this list under Rs 16,000. The 720p screen, the 5MP selfie camera, and the single speaker are where the price cut shows up.

POCO X8 Power

The POCO X8 Power gets a flat Rs 6,000 discount during the festive sale. The phone launched on 6 September at Rs 35,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model was priced at Rs 38,999. During the sale, these variants are available for Rs 29,999 and Rs 32,999, respectively. And if you add bank offers, you can save up to Rs 2,000 more.

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset and features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. It also packs a massive 10,000mAh battery and stereo speakers, making it an interesting option for users who want a large display and long battery life. POCO has also promised four years of OS updates and six years of security updates.

One thing to keep in mind is that the two storage variants use different technologies. The 128GB model gets UFS 2.2 storage, while the 256GB version comes with faster UFS 4.1 storage. If your budget allows it, the 256GB variant is the better pick. Otherwise, the 128GB model is still a good deal at Rs 29,999.

Realme P4x 5G

Realme launched the P4x on 4 December 2025 at Rs 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. After the price hike, it was priced at Rs 24,999. Flipkart lists it at Rs 22,999 now. During Big Billion Days, offers take up to Rs 1,650 off through bank discounts or no-cost EMI, so the effective price is Rs 21,349. The 8GB + 128GB model is Rs 25,999 in the sale, so after discounts, offers take up to Rs 1,300 off through bank discounts or no-cost EMI, the effective price would be Rs 20,400.

If we put this against the iQOO Z11 Lite, the P4x has a Full HD+ screen instead of 720p, a 144Hz refresh rate, a Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor, UFS 3.1 storage, an 8MP selfie camera and stereo speakers. The battery is 7,000mAh with 45W charging and bypass charging. It has a 5,300mm² vapour chamber, an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification.

The rear camera is a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor, and the display is an LCD, not AMOLED. At festive prices, the P4x costs Rs 5,000 more than the Z11 Lite. That money goes to the screen, the chip, the speakers and the selfie camera.

On this device, you get a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 144Hz and 3,600 nits of peak brightness. The chip is a Dimensity 7360 Max with UFS 3.1 storage. The battery is 8,000mAh with 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. It has a 5,000mm² vapour chamber, dual stereo speakers and an IP69K rating, along with IP69, IP68 and IP66.

The rear camera is a 50MP main sensor with OIS that shoots 4K video, plus a 2MP bokeh sensor. There is no ultra-wide lens. The front camera is a 16MP Sony IMX480, and the phone runs ColorOS 16. You can buy look at this one if the display and the battery matter more to you than a second camera.
