Recent sightings of Olivia Colman have us swooning…and we haven’t even seen her sexy fantasy film Wicker (yes, the one where Alexander Skarsgård comes to life as a man made of wicker). Instead, it’s her gorgeous flowing locks—salt-and-pepper curls with so much natural texture—that have us feeling faint. Hairstylist Clayton Hawkins is the mastermind behind the red carpet—and totally show-stopping—looks.
“She has gorgeous natural curls that I played up this week,” Hawkins says. To get the look, he continues, it’s a mix of tools and products. First, he prepped the hair with the Amika Frizz-Me-Not Treatment, then diffused her hair with the AirLight Pro Hair Dryer. Next, he “went in with a .5-inch curling iron and wrapped in random directions to keep it wild and sexy.” A little bit of Sexy Hair Powder to add a bit of volume at the roots, a bit of backcombing with a wide-tooth comb, and a drop or two of Dove 10-in-1 Serum (“the best and lightest hair oil, and it’s cheap AF from the drugstore,” Hawkins says), and ta-da: hair magic.

Now you may be wondering—how did Coleman grow shoulder-length hair when she was spotted in May of this year with her signature pixie cut? Could this look be a wig, extensions, or magical growth? “Medical mystery!” Hawkins jokes.
While we count down the days until we can see Wicker in theaters (hurry up, October 30!), these looks will feed us until then. “Olivia is hilarious,” Hawkins says. “Beautiful and a joy to be around. I can’t wait to see this sexy, bonkers movie!”
