INDIA Bloc March To Supreme Court, Heavy Security Deployment At Bhagwan Das Road
Opposition leaders from the INDIA bloc, accompanied by Congress and NSUI cadre as well as a large contingent of lawyers carrying copies of the Constitution, carried out a massive protest march towards the Supreme Court in New Delhi. Heavy security forces, including the Delhi Police, Rapid Action Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, and Uttar Pradesh Police, were deployed across Bhagwan Das Road, Bengali Market roundabout, and Barakhamba Road to prevent unrest. Multi-layered barricades and detention vehicles were positioned to halt the procession near Mandi House roundabout. While the Chief Justice of India's office indicated that petitions are already being heard, a designated delegation of ten leaders planned to hand over a petition in person, amidst tight administrative restrictions on vehicular and pedestrian movement near the apex court.
