Launched on October 1, 2026, Lagos Life is a free, browser-based life simulation game that allows players to create characters and navigate a virtual world modelled on everyday experiences in Nigeria. Players can find jobs, earn and spend virtual naira, pay rent, socialise and interact with others in the game.
Rayhamen developed the game after drawing inspiration from The Sims 3, which she played while growing up, and *Lagos Run*, a Nigerian browser game featuring danfo driving in Lagos. She built Lagos Life in less than 24 hours and shared it online on the morning of its launch, after which it quickly gained traction on social media.
