Man Utd’s hopes of avoiding a seventh game without a win across all competition could be dented as up to TEN senior players could be unavailable for selection on Wednesday evening.
Michael Carrick will provide a full team news update at his news conference on Tuesday evening at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, but in a change from recent seasons, Man United will not be announcing their squad for Champions League away games this season.
With that said, the Kamason and Armer could be involved in some capacity against Como.
Who is Jaydan Kamason?
Kamason is a 19-year-old defender, described as an “attacking full-back” who has risen through the youth ranks within the Man United academy.
The teenager joined the club in July 2023 from the Academy’s Emerging Talent Programme, becoming the first player to sign scholarship forms and penned a new contract in April to tie him down until 2028, with the option of a further.
A right-back, though capable of operating on the opposite flank, Kamason could be an option for Carrick considering injuries and suspensions in defence for United.
Kamason made the Man United matchday squad on four occasions during the 2024-25 Europa League campaign but is yet to make his senior competitive debut for the club.

"Last season, unfortunately, I had two injuries," he said. "Hopefully this season will be more positive.
"I'm just trying to stay fit now and show my ability on the pitch.
"I'm always trying to aspire to get to that level. If I need a few loans or whatever, we'll have to see, but I'm trying to get to that top level - and that's Manchester United. You have to be ambitious."
Who is Dan Armer?
He did not make an appearance off the bench, but he could be next in line for an appearance given United’s central defensive crisis at present.
Armer has been compared to Harry Maguire by some Man Utd supporters given his distinct running style and the fact he stands at 6ft 4in.

As a left-footer, he would give the United backline a degree of balance, potentially slotting in alongside Maguire if Martinez and Heaven are both ruled out against Como.
“We’re not light on numbers, it’s good for the likes of Dan to sample it,” Carrick said of Armer last week.
“He’s been around a long time and he’s worked so hard to get to this stage.”
