EGO Power’s commercial group showed up at this week’s EQUIP Expo with a trio of new zero-turn riding mowers, a commercial-grade 780 CFM leaf blower, and a heavy-duty 16.5″ trimmer built for the 56V PGX battery system. And, with incentive programs designed to help landscapers make the switch to electric popping up all over, the timing couldn’t be better.
Visitors to the EGO Commercial booth this week were greeted with a trailer-load of new, professional-grade electric landscaping equipment, an expanded interchangeable battery ecosystem, and a connected equipment platform meant to help landscapers manage their energy needs now and prepare them for future growth. In other words: it was a lot.
“Our focus at EGO Commercial is developing products that deliver the performance professional landscapers demand so they can maximize productivity and minimize downtime,” said Tim Baker, vice president of product at EGO parent company, Chervon. “From professional-grade mowing and handheld equipment to scalable charging and fleet management, every component is designed to work together so landscaping businesses can get more from their battery investment across their entire operation.”
The official copy gets into some of the basic specs of the new EGO Commercial mowers, walking prospective buyers through the basics:
Commercial sit-down ZTR: Built for demanding commercial mowing, the sit-down ZTR delivers up to 44 gas-equivalent horsepower and mowing speeds of up to 12 mph, with durable 48-, 54- and 60-inch deck options. Powered by up to four removable, high-capacity batteries, the mower features an onboard 700-watt DC-to-DC charger, allowing professionals to recharge handheld EGO 56V ARC lithium batteries directly in the field.
Commercial stand-on ZTR: The stand-on ZTR delivers up to 44 gas-equivalent horsepower and mowing speeds of up to 12 mph, with durable 48-, 54- and 60-inch deck options. Equipped with up to four removable, high-capacity batteries, the mower features an onboard 700-watt DC-to-DC charger for convenient hand-held battery charging.
Commercial Compact Stand-On ZTR: Designed for crews and properties where maneuverability matters, the Compact Stand-On delivers up to 26 gas-equivalent horsepower with durable 32- and 36-inch deck options and mowing speeds of up to 9 mph.
Once you’ve leveled the turf and laid down your lawn stripes on your new EGO mower, they’ve got a pair of new, commercial-grade hand-held PGX power tools to help clean up the customers’ rough edges, too, with lightweight, easy-to-handle designs that ECO says help reduce operator fatigue, improve maneuverability, and make everyday tasks easier for you and your crew.
Commercial 780 CFM Blower: For precise cleanup and everyday applications, the blower combines controlled clearing performance with a lightweight, 4.8-pound bare-tool design to help reduce fatigue during repetitive tasks. Delivering air speeds up to 190 mph and 27 newtons of push force, it provides the maneuverability and control needed for detailed work, such as clearing grass clippings from mulch beds without disruption, as well as routine post-mowing cleanup.
16.5″ Front-Motor String Trimmer: Designed with operator comfort in mind, the 6.6-pound trimmer features a carbon-fiber shaft and direct-drive brushless motor for excellent balance and reduced vibration. With 28 CC gas-equivalent power, it delivers commercial cutting performance in a lightweight design that’s comfortable to handle throughout the workday.
The lineup is impressive enough on its own, but the big news here is the upgraded app-backed PGX battery management system that the company says allows businesses to configure charging based on the size and energy demands of their operations.
Big-time battery

Designed for large, high-demand landscaping operations, EGO Commercial’s new 3200W PGX Hub offers 30 kWh (!) of overnight charging capacity and supports up to 48 (!!) three-port 56V (!!!) ARC-Lithium battery docks. A dedicated ZTR connection further expands the system’s versatility, allowing landscaping businesses to charge both the brand’s mowers and handheld tools with a single, “integrated” battery and charging system.
Perhaps more impressive than the power specs themselves is the fact that all of that is designed to work on a standard 120V outlet an a 15A circuit. “With PGX Commercial Charging solutions,” reads the copy, “no expensive electrical upgrades are required.”
EGO’s Commercial Fleet App gives landscaping crews another tool to keep their electric equipment working efficiently, letting fleet managers remotely monitor equipment location and usage, manage batteries and charging settings, and receive status alerts designed to maximize uptime.
