By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Orange Walk police have once again found suspected cannabis on an empty lot on Rio Grande Street.
Police say that around 10:00pm on Sunday, October 11, officers searching the lot found a yellow plastic bag containing a green leafy substance suspected to be cannabis.
No one was in the area at the time.
At the Orange Walk Police Station, the drugs weighed 81.48 grams. They were sealed in an envelope and labelled as found property.
The discovery comes just a day after police found 21.64 grams of suspected cannabis, also in a yellow plastic bag, on an empty lot on the same street on Saturday morning.
