Crypto analyst Ali Martinez noted that the recent rebound in Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, and Cardano (ADA) prices coincided with a sharp increase in cryptocurrency inflows to exchanges. Martinez pointed out that large investors could have an influence on short-term price movements.
During the same period, there was also a remarkable increase in the amount of Bitcoin sent to cryptocurrency exchanges. According to the data, exchange inflows rose from approximately 7,682 BTC to 25,124 BTC.
These figures show that the amount of Bitcoin channeled to exchanges more than tripled in a two-day period.
Martinez stated that similar activity was observed in the XRP and ADA markets. According to the analyst, the increase in exchange inflows along with the price recovery in the three crypto assets strengthens the possibility that large investors are playing a significant role in market movements.
Transfers, particularly those made by investors holding large amounts of cryptocurrency and known as whales in the market, can affect short-term supply and liquidity conditions.
However, large-scale transfers to exchanges do not necessarily mean that direct sales are being made. These transactions can also be carried out for various investment and liquidity management purposes.
Martinez’s assessment suggests that large investor movements may be behind the recent price increases in BTC, XRP, and ADA.
However, the available data does not definitively prove that these price changes were caused by intentional market intervention. The simultaneous price and transfer movements highlighted by the analyst are among the indicators that should be monitored to assess the short-term direction of the market.
