Pakistan opener Fakhar Zaman has become the first Pakistani batter to hit 100 sixes in T20 internationals, achieving the milestone during the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The 36-year-old, who made his T20I debut in 2017, entered the match with 99 sixes and reached the landmark by hitting Sri Lankan pacer Binura Fernando over deep midwicket on the seventh delivery he faced.
Fakhar Zaman completed his century of sixes in 113 innings, becoming the first Pakistani to reach the milestone in the shortest international format.
Mohammad Rizwan follows him with 95 sixes in 93 innings, while Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan moved ahead of former captain Babar Azam to take third place on the list.
Most Sixes for Pakistan in T20Is
| Player | Sixes | Innings |
|---|---|---|
| Fakhar Zaman | 100 | 113 |
| Mohammad Rizwan | 95 | 93 |
| Sahibzada Farhan | 81 | 50 |
| Babar Azam | 80 | 136 |

Despite reaching the milestone, Fakhar could not make a significant contribution with the bat and was dismissed by Eshan Malinga for 12 runs off seven balls.
Pakistan then suffered a middle-order collapse, slipping to 102/6 before captain Sahibzada Farhan and all-rounder Arafat Minhas helped the team recover with an attacking partnership.
Their efforts lifted Pakistan to 168/8 in the allotted 20 overs.
