The Cosori TurboBlaze 6L promises more control over everyday cooking than a conventional air fryer, thanks to its five-speed fan system, wider temperature range and multiple cooking programmes. But are these features useful enough to influence your buying decision? For UAE households that regularly cook different types of food, the TurboBlaze offers a meaningful upgrade over a basic air fryer. Its appeal lies less in making chips and chicken faster and more in handling tasks such as baking, reheating and dehydrating with greater flexibility. For couples and smaller families, that versatility could make it a more frequently used kitchen appliance.
Key facts
Best for: Couples and small families wanting more cooking options in one appliance
Bottom line: Worth considering for its adaptable cooking modes, rather than air frying alone
What you get
The Cosori TurboBlaze is a single-basket air fryer with a nominal 6-litre capacity, touchscreen controls and a DC motor that operates at five different fan speeds. Unlike many basic air fryers, which primarily let users adjust temperature and cooking time, the TurboBlaze links its fan speeds to different cooking programmes.
There are nine main cooking functions: Air Fry, Roast, Grill, Frozen, Reheat, Bake, Dry, Proof and Keep Warm. A separate preheat function helps prepare the cooking chamber before food goes in.
The Turbo cooking modes use the highest fan speed to circulate hot air rapidly around ingredients. Lower-speed programmes are designed for gentler cooking tasks, including baking, drying ingredients and proofing dough. According to RTINGS, fan speeds are assigned automatically by programme rather than selected independently by the user.
The advertised operating range extends from 30°C to 230°C. This allows lower-temperature preparation as well as high-temperature roasting and crisping, although individual programmes have their own operating limits.
The removable basket and crisper plate are designed for cleaning after cooking. This model is also described as having a ceramic-coated cooking surface.
The appliance uses a compact, relatively low-profile design, with the cooking controls positioned on its upper surface. It has one cooking chamber, so different dishes requiring separate temperatures must be prepared in successive batches.
How it performs
The most useful difference between the TurboBlaze and a conventional air fryer is its ability to vary airflow according to the cooking task. High-speed circulation helps crisp chicken wings, potatoes and frozen snacks, while slower airflow is better suited to gentler processes.
Independent testing supports much of its everyday appeal. RTINGS found that the TurboBlaze cooked quickly and produced well-browned food, helped by its relatively generous cooking surface. TechGearLab also reported strong results for vegetables, fish and poultry.
However, five fan speeds do not guarantee consistently better results. RTINGS recorded temperature fluctuations during cooking, while Tech Advisor found that a batch of homemade chips needed additional time to achieve more even browning. These findings suggest that checking food and adjusting cooking times remains useful, particularly with larger portions.
For UAE households, the appliance makes practical sense during warmer months. Preparing chicken, samosas or roasted vegetables in a countertop basket can be more convenient than using a full-sized oven for a small meal. The reheat function is also useful for leftovers, particularly when a crisp finish is preferable to microwave reheating.
Cleaning is another everyday consideration. The removable, non-stick cooking components simplify washing, and Cosori UAE describes the basket as dishwasher-safe. The coating still benefits from gentle utensils and non-abrasive cleaning.
Its flexibility is most convincing when those additional programmes become part of a regular cooking routine.
What we like
Five automatic fan speeds: Different airflow settings support crisping, baking and low-temperature cooking without requiring manual fan adjustments.
Wide temperature range: The low-temperature functions allow tasks such as dehydrating fruit and proofing dough, while higher settings suit roasting and browning.
Practical cooking area: Independent testing confirms useful space for spreading food out rather than stacking ingredients.
Convenient cleaning: Removable cooking components and dishwasher-safe basket construction help reduce everyday maintenance.
Who should buy this?
The Cosori TurboBlaze 6L is particularly suitable for couples who cook at home regularly and families of three or four preparing everyday meals. Its capacity can accommodate several portions, although larger quantities of chips, chicken or vegetables may require separate batches.
It also makes sense for people who want to experiment with baking, drying fruit or preparing dough without buying separate countertop appliances.
Households that mainly reheat frozen snacks or prepare occasional side dishes may find a simpler air fryer sufficient. Larger families wanting to cook two different dishes simultaneously should consider a dual-basket model.
A useful upgrade if you will use its extra cooking modes
The Cosori TurboBlaze 6L offers genuine advantages over a basic air fryer, particularly in cooking flexibility. Its five-speed fan system and 30°C to 230°C operating range give it a broader role in the kitchen, while its single-basket design remains manageable for everyday use.
Its value depends on cooking habits rather than the number of advertised functions. Buyers who regularly roast, reheat, bake or prepare ingredients at lower temperatures have more reasons to choose it.
For UAE couples and smaller families, it strikes a sensible balance between capacity and functionality. The TurboBlaze is worth considering as a versatile countertop cooker, provided the extra programmes are features you expect to use.
