The Milwaukee Brewers are letting some fans keep their Timeless Tickets for future games after complaints surfaced over seating options for the 2026 World Series.
In an Oct. 20 statement, Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger acknowledged the team made a mistake in communicating how it would fulfill ticket requests from fans who purchased the special tickets more than a decade ago.
"We subsequently erred in our internal communications on the logistics of fulfilling the requests," Schlesinger said in a statement obtained by TMJ4. "While we were able to accommodate all with seats, we received feedback from some that they were unhappy with their seat locations."
Schlesinger said the team did not live up to the spirit of the program despite limited seating availability and has been working toward a resolution.
Fans who accepted the less-desirable seats offered through the Timeless Ticket program will be allowed to attend the World Series and keep their original tickets to redeem for another game in a future season.
"We regret our mistake and look forward to welcoming them to American Family Field for their World Series experience," Schlesinger said.
What is the Brewers' Timeless Ticket controversy?
In 2015, the Brewers sold 1,000 Timeless Tickets for $1,000 each, allowing fans to redeem them for a future home game of their choosing, including a potential World Series game.
