EXCLUSIVE: Dancing with the Stars is still having its moment.
Tuesday night’s episode drew 6.59 million live + same-day viewers, according to Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel, up 2% from the week prior. Dancing with the Stars led primetime on Tuesday across the major broadcasters.
Super Bowl night also posted an 11% ratings increase among adults 18-49, growing to a 1.56, Nielsen reports. That marks the fourth week of growth in a row to hit not only a season high but also the show’s best non-finale episode in over nine years, since “A Night at the Movies” in May 2017.
Tuesday night’s episode saw the remaining couples compete to songs from past Super Bowl halftime performers. The show, where ESPN Monday Night Football’s Joe Buck joined the judges table as well, collected 70 million fan votes cast throughout the night.
Next week in the ballroom, the competitors are getting personal on Dedication Night. Special guest judge Kym Johnson returns to offer her expert insights. Dancing with the Stars is produced by BBC Studios.
