Jazeel Adam died on Christmas Day in 2023 in a tragic accident at a hotel in Tanzania, where the family had travelled for the holiday.
He was just a toddler. In a joint statement following his passing, the family described the loss as immeasurable and the pain as unbearable.
What happened after Jazeel's death?
Nazizi has now spoken out about an encounter that exposed just how little some people considered her grief.

Around February 2024, a company reached out to her team with a Valentine's Day campaign centred on promoting balcony safety nets.
The concept, as she described it, required her to look directly into a camera and speak to her late son, implying that the product could have prevented his death.
Her response was immediate.
"I couldn't believe it. I told my team, absolutely not. I refuse to use my son's death, my deepest trauma, to sell products or make money," she said.
She did not hold back in her assessment of those behind the proposal.
"It showed me how people can completely lose their humanity and empathy when money is involved. My grief is not a marketing strategy," she added.
Beyond the commercial incident, Nazizi opened up about how isolating the grieving process had been.
She revealed that she barely left the house for close to a year after Jazeel's death and turned away visitors during that period, needing space to process what had happened.
Prayer, meditation and the steady presence of close family members were what eventually helped her find her footing again, she said.
In February 2024, she had shared on social media that she felt broken and could not picture life without her son.
The following month, she spoke about the routines she missed most, evenings watching Paw Patrol together, the laughter, the cuddles. She described how hollow the house felt without him and how painful it was to see his toys sitting untouched.
By October 2026, Nazizi marked a sombre tribute to Jazeel, writing:
"I miss you so much, @jazeeladam, especially the kisses and your little laugh and your expressions and how you didn't need words to express yourself, my mini me. I can't wait to kiss you again."

TUKO.co.ke also highlighted facts about Nazizi’s knee injury, the years she spent using a crutch and brace, and the treatment she said helped her walk again.
After living with severe pain and fearing surgery, Nazizi described a dramatic change the morning after her first treatment. She said she was walking and running again, and has been largely pain-free for nearly five years.
