Right when things seemed like they couldn’t get worse for the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football against the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers … well, they did.
After NFL All-Pro wide receiver Terry McLaurin left the game and was ruled out with a serious knee injury in the first half, $45 million defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw suffered the same fate and was ruled out with a knee injury early in the third quarter.
“JavonKinlaw (knee) ruled out,” ESPN’s John Keim wrote on his official X account on Monday night.
“JavonKinlaw has been ruled out with a knee injury,” The Athletic’s Nicki Jhabvala wrote on his official X account.
“This is quietly a huge loss for the Commanders,” Commanders reporter Chad Ryan wrote on X. “Kinlaw is important and effective up front.”
