A reported benchmark listing offers fresh clues about Motorola’s rumored Razr Flex 27, including a processor choice that could distinguish it from competing foldables.
The entry, listed under the name “motorola razr flex 27,” reportedly shows Android 17, 12GB of RAM and processor details pointing to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Motorola has not confirmed the phone’s final specifications or price.
For buyers considering a foldable for work, the listing offers an early performance indication. Pricing, software support and how applications work across both screens will be more useful measures of its value.
Benchmark details and hardware leaks
According to reporting on the Geekbench listing, the device scored 2,669 in single-core testing and 8,837 in multi-core testing. Its reported QTI SM8845 identifier points to Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, although GSMArena’s preliminary specification page lists Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. Motorola has not confirmed the retail configuration.
GSMArena’s unofficial preliminary specifications list a 6.92-inch internal OLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 4.97-inch cover display. They also list a 5.8-millimeter unfolded thickness, a weight of 215 grams and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging.
The same page lists 50-megapixel main and ultrawide rear cameras, separate 32-megapixel cameras for the internal and cover displays, an IP49 dust and water resistance rating, and Pantone Coriander and Dark Botanical Garden finishes. These details remain unconfirmed by Motorola.
How it could compare with Apple and Samsung
Apple’s iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 in the US, while Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold8 launched at $1,899.99. Motorola has not announced a price for the Razr Flex, so it is too early to describe it as a cheaper alternative.
The reported processor and camera configuration could give buyers another option, but those components alone do not establish its price or overall value. Software support, repair costs and durability will also affect the cost of ownership.

What foldable buyers should check before buying
If the reported 215-gram weight is accurate, the Razr Flex would weigh 39 grams less than Apple’s 254-gram iPhone Duo, but 14 grams more than Samsung’s 201-gram Galaxy Z Fold8. That makes portability a comparison of folded dimensions and thickness as well as weight.
The reported CPU scores do not establish battery life, sustained gaming performance or how reliably applications behave when switching between displays. Buyers should look for independent testing of the finished phone, particularly if they expect to use email, documents and video calls side by side.
For workplace use, IT teams should confirm device-management compatibility, security-update commitments and how essential apps handle the folding display. Running Android 17 would not, by itself, establish Motorola’s support period or guarantee compatibility with an employer’s requirements.
Buyers should also compare warranty terms, folding-screen repair coverage and replacement costs before treating a lower purchase price—if Motorola offers one—as better value. Until pricing, availability and final specifications are announced, the leak is a reason to watch the device rather than a firm basis for a purchase decision.
