Prince Indah calls Winnie his true Shujaa
The musician did not hold back in his words for his wife.
"Today, as we celebrate Kenya's heroes, my heart goes to two extraordinary people who embody strength, leadership, and resilience," he wrote on Instagram.
"To my beloved wife, @winnienyamigori. Your zeal, humility, love and wisdom are the foundation of our home. Watching everything you've overcome and how you keep our family standing strong and steadfast leaves no doubt in my mind you are my true Shujaa."
Raila Odinga also gets a special mention
The tribute did not stop at his wife. Prince Indah extended his Mashujaa Day message to the late former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga, whom he named as his second hero.
"To Hon Raila Amollo Odinga: It's BABA's MONTH. You are not only my hero, but a hero for the entire nation. Thank you for your relentless fight, leadership and sacrifice. We celebrate you today and always," he wrote, signing off with a Happy Mashujaa Day message to his followers using his signature tag #osiepeindah.
As Kenyans marked the holiday with national celebrations at Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret, Prince Indah offered his own quiet but powerful statement, reminding fans that sometimes the most important heroes are the ones holding a family together away from the spotlight.
