Overview:
Walmart's October Deals event ended on October 11, 2026, with several product prices changing within five days.
AirPods 4, the Dreo air purifier, and the Simzlife nugget ice maker remain below their listed comparison prices, while the Roomba 1010 Combo is back at $198.
Product features, replacement costs, and everyday usefulness matter more than advertised discounts when deciding whether a purchase offers good value.
Walmart's October Deals event has ended, but what matters now is the current price. Some deals have already shifted since the sale closed on October 11, 2026. This guide looks at four popular picks: Apple AirPods 4, a Dreo HEPA air purifier, a Simzlife nugget ice maker, and the iRobot Roomba 1010 Combo.
Each product brings something different to the table. Not every discount from the sale still stands today. Here is a closer look at the latest prices, the real features behind each pick, and what to check before buying one.
Price Snapshot: Event Week vs October 16
The Roomba sits apart from the other three. Its event price has not carried over, and the current listing shows no live discount. It still appears here for what the robot does at $198, not as an active deal.
Apple AirPods 4
This is the standard AirPods 4, without active noise cancelling. Battery life runs up to five hours per charge and thirty hours with the case, and the earbuds carry an IP54 rating for dust, sweat, and water. Walmart listed a 4.3-star average across 86,400 ratings as of October 16.
The standard model's price advantage over the noise-cancelling version is narrow, roughly twenty-one dollars at the time of checking. That gap matters mainly for people who commute or travel often and want the quieter listening experience. For general daily use, the standard model carries the stronger value case. One shopper review mentioned the earbuds slipping out during workouts, a fit issue worth weighing rather than a flaw that applies to every buyer.
Dreo HEPA Air Purifier
Priced at USD 43.99, this purifier uses a three-stage HEPA filter rated to capture 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Retailer listings for the HAP004 model put its clean air delivery rate near 119 CFM, with air cycling roughly 4.8 times an hour across about 155 square feet.
Replacement filters run between thirty and thirty-six dollars depending on the retailer, an ongoing cost worth factoring into the purchase. Walmart listed a 4.5-star average across roughly 1,500 ratings on October 16. One reviewer noted the absence of a remote or app control, a minor gap for a budget unit at this price point.
Simzlife Nugget Ice Maker
The USD 179.99 price is the number to weigh here, not the USD 329.99 comparison price shown on the listing. Walmart carries other 44-pound nugget ice makers with comparison prices ranging from USD 349.99 to USD 999.99, a wide spread that makes list-price comparisons an unreliable guide across this category.
The machine claims production of up to 44 pounds of ice daily, a first batch in about ten minutes, a 1.8-liter removable tank, and a twenty-minute self-cleaning cycle. Walmart listed a 4.5-star average across about 2,500 ratings on the same date.
One customer review flagged that the unit does not keep stored ice cold, which means moving finished batches to a freezer for longer storage, and the same review noted it struggles under heavy, continuous demand such as a party setting. These notes reflect one shopper's experience rather than a confirmed pattern across every unit sold.

iRobot Roomba 1010 Combo
Model Y311620 now lists at USD 198.00, matching its full list price with no event-week carryover. The robot uses LiDAR-based mapping for navigation and obstacle avoidance, detects carpets automatically to avoid mopping them, and runs in vacuum-only, mop-only, or combined modes through app or voice control. Walmart listed a 4.0-star average across 601 ratings on October 16, with 16% of those ratings at one star.
This model skips the self-emptying dock found on pricier Roomba versions, so manual bin emptying stays part of ownership. Review feedback flagged occasional charging trouble and the robot pulling in loose items such as slippers.
A portion of the five-star reviews were tied to a promotional campaign, which makes the middle-rated reviews a more useful read for a fuller picture. One Walmart pickup location also showed low stock at the time of checking.

Reading Walmart Deals with a Critical Eye
A sale-week price rarely holds steady. Three of the four products checked here moved within days of the event closing. Comparison or 'was' pricing also varies widely across similar listings, as the ice maker's case shows. So it works better as context than as proof of savings. Not every item in this guide carries an active discount today. The Roomba earns its place through its feature set at USD 198, not through a live markdown.

Final Thoughts
Walmart’s October sale has closed, but not every deal closes with it. Some prices hold steady for weeks. Others quietly disappear or return later at a different number entirely. The smarter move before buying is a direct check of the live listing, placed next to a few comparable products. A discount only earns its name when the product actually fits the need in front of a shopper, and the price still makes sense once the sale banner is gone.

FAQs
1. Is Walmart's October Deals event still active?
No. The event ran from October 5 to October 11, 2026. Prices checked after that date reflect Walmart's regular listings, not sale pricing.
2. Which product from this list still offers the biggest discount?
The Dreo HEPA air purifier shows the largest gap from its list price, at $43.99 against a USD 99.99 list price. The AirPods 4 and the ice maker also remain below list price, though both have risen since the sale ended.
3. Does the iRobot Roomba 1010 Combo still carry a sale discount?
No. Its price has returned to USD 198.00, matching its list price. It appears in this guide for its features at that price, not as an active deal.
4. Why does the Dreo purifier's coverage area look smaller than the listing claims? Retailer listings for the HAP004 model show it cycling air through roughly 155 square feet per hour, a figure well below the larger coverage number printed on some product pages. Shoppers with bigger rooms should treat it as a small-space purifier.
5. Should buyers trust the "was" price shown on a product listing?
Not fully. Comparison prices can vary widely between similar listings, as seen with the nugget ice maker, where similar models show "was" prices ranging from $349.99 to $999.99. A direct check of the current price remains the more reliable guide.
