Lara Trump showcases incredibly toned bikini body as she celebrates milestone birthday

Eric Trump shared a carousel of photos to celebrate the 44^th birthday of his wife, Lara Trump, with the father of two taking to Instagram to pay tribute. 

The first snap saw Eric and Lara dressed to the nines at a black-tie event, with the blonde beauty in a shimmering green gown.

Another photo featured Eric planting a kiss on his wife's cheek as she hugged him from behind, and in a third picture, the couple sat on a paddleboard with their kids, Luke and Carolina, in front of them.

Lara threw up a peace sign while dressed in a blue bikini that showcased her toned figure, while Eric beamed behind her. "Happy birthday to my wife and best friend – you are truly one of a kind!" Eric wrote in the caption.

Lara and Eric's love story 

The duo met in 2008 and married six years later, before welcoming Luke in 2017 and Carolina in 2019. Lara shared insight into their awkward first meeting on the Pod Force One podcast, revealing that his pickup line was decidedly unromantic. 

"He looked at me, and he grabbed my stomach, and said, 'Wow, you're too skinny for any of your food to taste good. You must be a horrible chef,'" she recalled.

"I was like, 'Oh…well, that's different.'…That was the intro – and here we are. I guess it worked out."

Lara later explained on The Right View podcast that she had no idea about Eric or his family when they first met. "I did not know who his dad was. I didn't know his last name initially. I just knew I met some really tall guy out."

A normal life

Before Eric and Lara had children and moved their family to Florida in 2022, she shared with HELLO! in 2017 that their lives were "normal" despite being part of the Trump family.

"Eric and I lead a pretty normal life. Our favorite place to be is our home outside of New York City," she said. "It's quiet and relaxing – just the two of us and our dogs. The Secret Service is made up of absolutely wonderful people. We couldn't ask for more patriotic, selfless people to be around us."

Family ties

Lara is close to her husband's family, including her sister-in-law, Ivanka Trump. She shared with HELLO! that she took style inspiration from Ivanka and the First Lady, Melania Trump. "I certainly try to look my best. I think our First Lady, Melania, and my sister-in-law Ivanka have impeccable style," she said.

"I look to many different women for inspiration but try to make things my own. Each woman is unique, and we look our best when we feel confident and comfortable in our own skin."

Lara later revealed on the Katie Miller Pod that Ivanka "always means so well" and was the best gift-giver of the family.

"God, and we're the worst. Eric and I are the absolute worst," she said. "I mean, [Ivanka] remembers everything. My kids' birthdays, every single time. Don't ask me when the last time was I sent my nieces and nephews an actual birthday gift on time, because I always fail. I'm the worst."
