The ICT manufacturing and sales segment led at 53.0 its strongest reading in the quarter.
The information and communications technology (ICT) sector’s reading rose to 52.5 in the third quarter , reversing the slight moderation in second quarter (Q2), according to OCBC’s SME Index report.
The index continued to grow from 51.1 in Q2, 51.4 in the first quarter, and 51.0 in 2025, with collections rising 16.1% and payments increasing 13.4%.
Whilst growth was observed across all segments, the ICT manufacturing and sales segment led the expansion, recording the strongest business activity at 53.0.
Rising digitalisation across the economy, particularly amongst small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), continues to support the sector as businesses adopt more digital tools and technologies, the report said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW
Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.
Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.
We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.
If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
